Senator Ellis moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 19 was read the third time. Senators French, Wagoner, Ellis, Wielechowski, Paskvan, Menard, Thomas, Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cross sponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered. The question being: "Shall HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 19 Recognizing the 20th anniversary of the Exxon Valdez oil spill and supporting the continued practice of accompanying each oil tanker through Prince William Sound with at least a two vessel escort, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: HJR 19 Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 16 NAYS: 2 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 VACANT: 1 Yeas: Davis, Ellis, French, Hoffman, Huggins, McGuire, Menard, Meyer, Olson, Paskvan, Stedman, Stevens, Therriault, Thomas, Wagoner, Wielechowski Nays: Bunde, Dyson Excused: Kookesh and so, HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 19 passed the Senate. Senator Dyson gave notice of reconsideration.
